Guatemala La Morena Huehuetenango
Guatemalan coffees have long been a favorite of ours at South Metro Coffee and this selection from Huehuetenango is an excellent representation of what Guatemala has to offer.
Coffees from Guatemala are typically known for their full body and chocolatey flavors. This offering in particular features flavor notes of milk chocolate, stone fruits, brown sugar, dried cherry, and marzipan. At least, that's what our supplier tells us!
Kenya AB Lenana Plus
Kenyan coffees are a staple in our personal collections and we rarely go without one on hand. Our owner, Joe, has fond memories of his father enjoying a cup of Kenya AA in the morning.
This particular coffee is sourced from estates across the Murang’a, Kiambu, and Kirinyaga counties and features flavors of stone fruit, apricot, dark chocolate, lime, brown sugar, and roasted almond. Order some today and see if you can single out any of those notes.
Ethiopia Guji Shakiso
Ethiopia is commonly recognized as the birthplace of coffee and its coffees are known for their fruity, floral, and citrus notes.
This particular coffee comes from the Guji region of Ethiopia and features a balanced and complex flavor profile. Look for floral flavor notes of green tea, cane sugar, lime, and white grape.
Colombia Huila Pitalito Excelso
Likely the most recognized single-origin coffee in the US, Colombian coffees are high-grown in the Andes mountains and are known for their smooth and balanced flavor profile.
Our current Colombian Excelso offering features notes of milk chocolate, brown sugar, and tart dried fruit. Give some a try and see what you think!
Mexico Finca Fatima
Although Mexico has been producing coffee since the late 18th century it isn't as well known and recognized an origin as some others. Nevertheless we have always been impressed with Mexican coffees which tend to feature a smooth, balanced brew.
Our current offering comes from Finca Fatima in the Veracruz region of Mexico and features notes of Dark Chocolate, Almond, Berry, and Brown Sugar.
Colombia SWP Decaffeinated
Sometimes you want the flavor of coffee without the jolt of caffeine, we've got you covered with our decaf Colombian.
Decaffeinated via the chemical free Swiss Water Process this coffee retains its original flavor notes of cocoa, roasted nuts, and dried fruits but sheds the pesky caffeine so you can sleep trouble free.
